La distance physique entre les stations au sol Nanshan et Delingha est de 1120 km.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Il s&#8217;agit du projet QUESS (Quantum Experiments at Space Scale) qui utilise le satellite surnomm\u00e9 Micius (d&#8217;apr\u00e8s un ancien scientifique chinois), le premier satellite de communication quantique au monde.<\/p>\n<p>La distribution de cl\u00e9s quantiques (QKD) est un moyen th\u00e9oriquement s\u00fbr de partager des cl\u00e9s secr\u00e8tes entre des utilisateurs distants. Elle utilise des protocoles cryptographiques bas\u00e9s non pas sur des lois math\u00e9matiques mais sur des lois de la m\u00e9canique quantique.<\/p>\n<p>La s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des protocoles d&#8217;\u00e9change quantique de cl\u00e9 est appuy\u00e9e sur l&#8217;hypoth\u00e8se que le\u00a0th\u00e9or\u00e8me de non clonage\u00a0prive un adversaire d&#8217;apprendre l&#8217;\u00e9tat d&#8217;une particule avant la mesure. Cette s\u00e9curit\u00e9 repose donc sur une propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de la\u00a0physique quantique, plut\u00f4t que sur la\u00a0difficult\u00e9 math\u00e9matique\u00a0d&#8217;un probl\u00e8me, comme c&#8217;est le cas des protocoles d&#8217;\u00e9change de cl\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s aujourd&#8217;hui. Ce probl\u00e8me peut \u00eatre r\u00e9solu en utilisant une QKD bas\u00e9e sur l&#8217;intrication.<\/p>\n<p>En effet, la physique quantique rend possible un effet \u00e9trange appel\u00e9 l&#8217;intrication.
